Quick & Easy Super Bowl Sunday Salsa

Happy Super Bowl Sunday Readers!

In honor of Super Bowl Sunday, I wanted to make a homemade salsa recipe for our guests.  One that does not require a lot of time, because who wants to spend all day in the kitchen? I made mine ahead of time so it will have time to chill in the refrigerator.

Here is what you will need:
·      1 - 14.5 oz. can tomatoes and green chilies
·      1 - 14.5 oz. can whole canned tomatoes (plus the juice)
·      4 teaspoons jalapenos (canned,diced, not pickled)
·      1/2 tsp. garlic salt
·      1/2 tsp. minced garlic
·      1/2 teaspoon cumin
·      1 tsp. sugar
·      2 whole roma tomatoes

Here are my seasonings. By the way the cube in the bowl is garlic. You can purchase already crushed garlic in the frozen food section at Wal-Mart. It makes using garlic so much easier and less messy!

Once you have gathered all of the necessary ingredients add them all to a blender and blend. Yes it is that EASY!

I hope ya’ll enjoy this easy and delicious snack recipe.
GO BRONCOS!
